Diane & David
Diane and David have been married for 12 years. Both were widowed previously (with Diane also experiencing a divorce) and God brought healing in their losses that allowed them to love again. Between them, they have 7 children and 17 grandchildren. Diane is a teacher at heart and delights in studying and sharing the truths of Scripture.
Leigh
Leigh has been married to James for 27 years and they have a preteen daughter. God has gifted her with a talent for writing and Leigh uses it for His glory as an editor for a national Christian news outlet and an author. She has written two non-fiction books and three novels. (Fun fact: She’s also a big time Star Wars fan!) Whether she is leading a Life Group or tapping the keys of her laptop, Leigh is seeking to help others grow closer to Jesus.
Rick & Lois
Rick and Lois have been married for 46 years and have two children and four grandchildren. They were both born and raised in a little town west of Chicago, moved around a lot over the years, and finally settled in Texas. Rick and Lois have life experience as parents, grandparents, and caring for their aging parents. While Rick enjoys his passion for cooking, fishing, and gardening, Lois can be found knitting, quilting, or reading, and together they share a love of travel to places near and far.
Betty & Richard
After each had been married for over 35 years and lost their spouses to medical issues in the same year, Betty and Richard found healing and love again. They’ve now been married for 18 years. Between them, they have 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Throughout their marriage, they have grown in the faith which first drew them together.
Betty and Richard are both retired, and are passionate about church, family, and travel, having visited most of the countries of the world. God called them to Parkway as a place of healing, spiritual connection, and service.
David & Lisa
David and Lisa have been married for 28 years and are the parents of two grown children. Their son, Darin, recently married and their daughter, Lindsey, currently attends Dallas Baptist University. David and Lisa love sharing life together — riding bikes, taking trips, and spending time with family — and they love sharing life with their Parkway family, too. Parkway is home for them because of the people and the church’s focus on discipleship as parents are encouraged to be the primary spiritual influences in their children’s lives.
Leslie
Leslie has been married to Michael for 32 years and they have 7 children and 4 grandchildren who are the delight of her heart. She is passionate about children’s ministry and equally loves spending time with the elderly. She has known loss and grief in her life and can attest to God’s faithfulness as He sustained her through it all.
Terry
Terry has been married to Bill for almost 5 years. While she has no children by birth, she has been called to love other children as her own and welcomes those God brings to her. Whether enjoying the outdoors, traveling with Bill, or engaging in missions both at home and abroad, Terry shares her passion for life and for the Lord with everyone she encounters.
